SPLICER FILMS’ IMPACT VISION

At Splicer Films, we go beyond the applause: we aim to create a difference by uplifting the world's future leaders with inspirational and educational stories of social impact. We believe the power of storytelling can spark social advocacy, and move viewers to create positive change in their own communities. Our goal is to evoke empathy and galvanize change makers to address issues in their own communities, by sharing an empowering framework for future leaders to
achieve their utmost potential in an ever evolving world.

By hosting screenings, talks and workshops, we engage viewers to focus on grassroots change, building a more inclusive and just world one community at a time. As part of our social impact strategy, our business model will distribute a percentage of Finding Ubuntu’s net profits to the social causes spotlighted in the film,
Ubuntu Nation and Congo Orphans.

Finding Ubuntu is the first of many underrepresented stories of unsung heroes that we spotlight. To catalyze the empowerment of grassroots leaders, consider supporting the creation of more stories like Finding Ubuntu, by donating to the docuseries in development, Unmasked: Real Heroes, Untold Stories.

What People Are Saying…

"It motivated me to want to be more active within my community"

"I want to help my community even more because of this film. Because I know that there’s nothing I can’t do. I just have to put my best foot forward."

“I was deeply moved when Maick spoke about the profound realization that while we naturally know how to love our blood brothers, extending that love to all of mankind requires a similar level of passion, commitment, and drive. It was truly inspirational. I'm not sure if I can personally achieve that, but it has ignited within me the belief in the possibility.”

"...It is very motivating and inspiring, knowing you are not alone and that you can find hope in the darkest time."

"...since this film is very motivating, it has inspired me to take action into my goals to help others with what they don’t have."

“When Maick discusses the notion of loving his entire "family," even if they do not even know you but you are a part of my family. His genuine joy radiates outwardly, as he perpetually wears a smile. His authentic happiness represents a universal experience for humanity, not merely theoretical but actively lived.”

“All the films awaken you, for they shed light on the confines of our societal bubble. Life appears effortless within our comfortable enclave, but it is the awakening that adds depth and authenticity. Witnessing 25,000 individuals occupying a space designed for 10 thousand serves as a stark reminder. It serves as a clarion call for us to consider our role in serving such communities.”

"This filmed motivated me to take action by instilling belief in me that change is to come. It also motivated me to want to be more like these people and have a strong sense of hope even in hard times."

"The film showed me that I could make a change in my community if I can find a passion and reason to make a change."
